Hey, kids.

Some vintage Knack buttons up for grabs from my eBay page.

10% of the profits are going to the American Cancer Society.

Click.

Just the fact that I'm able to donate some to a charity that's working toward the cure just totally makes my day.

And another one bites the dust...
R.I.P Doug
Why are all the good musicians dead or dying when the bad ones aren't?
Found out for the first time that Benjamin Orr died in 2000 yesterday, and now find out that another has just died.

Stop dying please everyone

Death is so inconvenient these days.

I remember when Ben died, too. That was a pretty sad day. Poor guy died really slowly, too. :wa:

Saw a picture of him before he died, he was as thin as Ric! They looked like twins. Sucks. Cancers taken a lot of good musicians.

Yeah. It STILL makes me uneasy to see photos like that. I honestly admire him (and Doug, for that matter) so much for the way he dealt with his illness, and how he basically fought it until it took him over. I guess, maybe, in a sense, he lived slowly during that time, rather than just dying slowly.

Nonetheless both of those fine men could have done so much more with just a little bit more time in this world. Sigh. Cancer sucks. I hope that maybe I can live long enough to see an end to cancer; maybe someday there'll be a universal cure.
