Rick Astley (Official Thread)

Decided to scrap my old Rick Astley thread, as it lacked a lot of creativity to it, and I want to express my Rick Astley fanboyism properly with a beautifully created thread. Now, people generally will say "oh hey, Never Gonna Give You Up is a great song." But, honestly, that's not the reason i've become a fan of this guy. It's more for the fact that regardless of how silly or incredible his music is, he remains to still pull that off, which each album he creates, or has created.

I just love his personality and his happiness that goes along with his music. It shows every single time he opens his mouth to sing.

I currently own 5 of his albums, and will eventually own every single song he's released. Ironically, the only song I don't have in my library is "Never Gonna Give You Up". How that happened I do not know.

Always thought Together Forever was a good tune. (the Rick-Roll theme song is ok too, but it certainly does get overdone thanks to a billion dorks on the internet)

Together Forever is my favorite by him right now. It's very catchy.

And I agree. Though, it's a good thing that whole phenomenon was created with a good song, rather than a crappy song.

Lynch is right! It didn't dawn on me that "Together Forever" was an Astley song but it's so obvious. Honestly I hadn't even thought about that song in ages but it's catchy and nostalgic as I remember hearing it a long time ago. Anyway, it's good to be reminded that the Rick Rolled phenomena isn't the only trick this guy has up his sleeve!
