Decent song from Rainbow's first lp....not sure why its called 16th Century Greensleeves since it's not using the same themes/chords as the original written in 1580, but Blackmore has always had a fascination with older medieval and Elizabethean and early Brit folk as his present band shows.
7.5/10 because he is a creative guitarist but the song is nothing special imho.

Now a real Elizabethan song..... from the woods.....

Very good, although I don't usually listen to Jethro Tull. With all due respect to his multifaceted talents, Ian Anderson as a person is deeply antipathetic to me. In particular, I find some of his comments about other legendary and accomplished artists simply inappropriate and downright stupid.
Musically, this is a great song, in that very 16th-century style combined with progressive rock. 8/10.

Good vocals, but sounds like an 80s hair metal B-side...which it probably was. 6.5/10

First of all, I'm in shock that this is a live performance...because it sounds incredible. And secondly, it sounds as good if not better than the original version. Lead guitarist and singer kills it. Hendrix isn't even my bag, but this was amazing. 8.5/10

A classic from Bowie's glam period, meaning I've heard it many times. The riff holds up really well after all of those listens. The lyrics are basically nonsense (I'm assuming he uses them more for how they sound together than what they are actually saying), but they work in creating the vague image of an androgynous character from that scene. 8/10.
