R.I.P. Kenny Rogers

Rogers died of natural causes while in hospice care at his home in Georgia, his family said. A private memorial service for his family has been planned, the statement said, but a public celebration of his life will be held at a later date out of concern over the coronavirus outbreak.



While it's sad to hear of his passing, it's somewhat a relief to hear that he died from natural causes.

Kenny! One of my favorite country crooners. A great many of his songs have been played in the soundtrack of my life, and a couple of those tunes with great significance.

What a distinctive voice...and a real gent by all accounts. A massive loss to the world of music, as his style crossed several genres and age groups.
