Magic I adore Fields of Nephilim.!!! ok so they are a goth band...but they did have a ".....abilly" about them especially their early stuff!!

Another Psychobilly band that can rock....DEMENTED ARE GO

This kind of music was big in the 80s for a while with The Meteors,King Kurt and suchlike......but they never compared to THE CRAMPS

These guys are gonna fall under the "other related wayward travelers" tag ..

THE PINE BOX BOYS :
These guys play a strange mix of traditional Blue Grass paired with a very nontraditional drummer ( something Blue Grass never has ) who plays like he belongs in a psychobilly band. Lyrically they tend to concentrate on tales of murder and blood and other assorted mayhem all delivered with a gory punk humor vibe. Everything from wife murders to bloody hill feuds and serial killers in them their hills find their way into their hillbilly prose...I call it Hellbilly Blue Grass but I'm not really sure what they call it. Whatever it is I think it's pretty damn awesome.

2005 Arkansas Killing Time
2006 STAB!
2008 Child of Calamity

OS CATALEPTICOS :Formed in 1996, Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil they play the hardest, most metal influenced psychobilly you can imagination . So much so that they spawned an entire new sub-genre ( which there are many of ) in Psychobilly known as Thrashabilly .Most of it seriously is basically just Thrash with a good bit of rockabilly mixed in which makes sense because when you mix metal and punk you get Thrash Metal. One of my favorite Psychobilly bands, these guys are the first band that I really got into in the genre as I was a major Thrash fiend at the time they came out ( Guess I still am lol )

1998 Little Bits of Insanity
2000 Zombification

I wanted to use the official video for this one by I think I might have been pushing my luck due to the near pornographic nature of the video

Zakk Wylde dabbled in a side project of the Hellbilly/thrashabilly nature called Pride & Glory which was his first side project after Ozzy. They released one S/T album, and it is kickass!

GHOULTOWN: Hailing from the great state of Texas and fronted by the infamous Count Lyle, they have been described as "the ultimate embodiment of tequila drinking hillbilly rock". They have opened for the likes of Hank III and The Misfits...Another one of the bands that drew me into this genre they mix their Tex Mex roots into a fiery brand of hillbilly ghoul stories that really rock. Another really great Psychobilly band, their music is like a wicked, hard rocking soundtrack to a Clint Eastwood spaghetti western filmed in old Mexico with an outbreak of Vampires \m/
Definitely one of my favorites...

2000 Tales from the Dead West
2002 Give 'Em More Rope
2004 Live From Texas! CD/DVD
2006 Bury Them Deep
2008 Life After Sundown

I have the first three ( CD and DVD ) and just ordered the last two after diggin' these guys out and remember how flippin' awesome they really are.

Ghoultown is fantastic! This is the first time I have ever seen them mentioned on a forum; nice choice. Their music does sound like a great backdrop for some Texas Vampire show

DaKiller Wolf was kind of enough to let me post up some surf/hot rod revival music of the 90's. It has been tagged as surf punk or sometimes, but rarely as surfabilly. Being a big fan of the instrumental surf sound of the '60's some of these bands caught my interest back in the early '90's.

Hailing from Alabama, Man Or Astro-man? was one of the leaders from the surf revival playing a self-described space-age surf taking bytes from B-movies and forgotten TV shows. Siily, fun stuff from these space aliens.
