Re: Primus

I'm giving Frizzle Fry a first listen now and loving every second of it. With one month before I'm off to see them live, I hope the rest of their stuff is as good. They just have so much energy and a sense of fun that is refreshing to my ears! :)

Re: Primus

Come on guys? Why hasn't there been a Primus thread that I know about? This is silly.

If you haven't already listened to the greatest band in the world here are some albums you must check out. They are really bass orientated, and probably the best type of Funk. I can't really think of any other way to describe them other then THE BEST

Tales From The Punchbowl is by far the best album Primus has ever released, and I'm to argue with this >_>

The first real studio album, and it's one hell of a way to start your career!

This album was purely made for the real fans of Primus. A lot of top musicians helped put it together too.

I love that AntiPop slogan:):)

Sampled those for a few seconds Riff.. Les follows that really odd style which to me you have to be in the right mood for.. He never makes it easy to get comfortable when you listen to his music..:heheh:

So far "Eyes Of The Squirrel" and Jilly's on smack are different than his earlier stuff but then again.. When did Les stay with the same sound..
