wow, really? Bruce is breaking new ground and rebelling against the establishment by breaking curfew and noise laws? I guess he's also rebelling against the establishment while charging several hundred dollars to see his rebellious act.So you wouldn't say rock n roll was built on rebellion and breaking the rules a little then? The reason metal and rock broke through at all was that sense of pushing boundaries and the accepted standards imposed by the "establishment".

Sound carries VERY well, especially at night and especially with calm weather conditions. This isn't exactly a secret.Have you been to Hyde Park? The flaming stage is miles away from residentials and it was Saturday night!
considering the fact that the monarchy in England is nothing more than figurehead and a symbol of days LONG past, the Queen knighting every other rock star to cross her doorstep is equally as unimpressive as the figurehead that bestowed said honor upon his shoulder. Or does being a "knight" in the UK mean the rules don't apply to you?And a f*cking Knight of the realm was onstage singing.
I love McCartney, but I don't see why his presence on stage has anything to do with anything. Not like these clowns can't hook up at any given time or date to play together if they chose to do so.
which leads back to what I eluded to earlier in that if you allow it once, others will follow. IN this case, it appears that since other venues didn't publically make a big deal out of it, Bruce (and apparently some of the fans around here) feel he's entitled/empowered to continue with the same behavior. It's not a rebel thing, it's actually quite childish on his part. Also, Springsteen broke the curfew in every other country the E Street Band played it. Were they all wrong to let that happen then given that we should all live in a world where "rules are rules"?
DOn't like the rules in a particular society, move to another city, state, country or continent.Still, rules are there for a reason, eh Lynch so that must have been a first class decision.
Or, I guess you could just flip off "the man" and be a rebel.
