Personally, I don't really see the need to have music blasting at every moment of every day...Especially when your roommate is huddled in a corner with a pillow taped around his head trying to read...

I think "Add Some Music to Your Day" by the Beach Boys says it all. Music is everywhere, from dentist's offices to ice cream trucks to churches. It's all around us and I don't understand how you can't be touched by it on some level.

I think all people like music, just not as much as others. I find that when I'm in the car with most people, even if they claim to Love a song, they wont listen to it--they'll talk over it. They'll let 60 seconds go by and then it's back to chatter. I Cannot do that. If I am in love with a song, I will not only shut up--but I wont even get out of the car until it's over. Most people I know aren't like that. Heh.
