Can't wait untill the new Overkill finally drops. The new song sounds killer.

Ton of good kick arse thrash metal to be listened to on White Devil Armory.

Its rare for a metal band to have achieved as many albums as Overkill have put out and to me not one has been bad at all. They are all good enjoyable metal records. But I do have five I feel may stand out a bit above the rest.

I have all of them on CD other then Iron Bound which I have a digital copy of. I agree that they are all good though they do vary a bit here and there In quality. Up From the Underground is probably my least favorite if memory serves. That fact only due a to lack of solo guitar work....comparatively.
I think I Hear Black is underrated if a bit different.

Having solos doesn't necessarily make or break an album in my opinion.

Its still a good album but for me the guitar solo brings a bit more diversity and sonic color to
the musical pallet of a song. So with the right guitar work the music could have been improve upon IMO. While the rhythmic structure of a musical piece can be a bit "same-y" , timing changes aside, the solo bursts forth with an excitement, energy and a small segment that breaks away from the repeated pattern. That helps to keep a song interesting IMO....that of course is a matter personal taste. Having said that I dont feel that all songs NEED a solo.....

The Killing Kind if I was to pick the album I listen to the least would be my choice.

The Killing Kind is an underrated album. Some songs had quite a melodic yet also Doom feel to it.
