^^ I've been a fan of Opeth since the early days and would definitely call them one of my top five metal bands. Imo "Blackwater Park" is their best album, closely followed by "Still Life". My favourite Opeth track - and one of my favourite metal tracks by any band - is "The Drapery Falls".
I really enjoyed "Heritage". "Folklore" is one of my favourite songs of their more recent material, but I'm still glad that they seem to be returning their usual style again.

^^ I'm a bit of a new comer to these SDM, I saw a bit of them at the High Voltage Festival 2010 but there were so many bands to try and fit in that weekend it was impossible to catch all the acts. However I've picked up three Opeth albums and am very much impressed.

I am surprised at how little I have listened to My Arms, Your Hearse compared to other albums because this was a great way to pick up where Orchid left off. Beautiful melodies in the middle of this album along with the traditional black metal type vibe in the guitars and the vocals.
Demon of the Fall is just fantastic for all of that.

I've listened more to their first five albums, particularly "Still Life" and "Blackwater Park" - which is their ultimate masterpiece imo, than any of the later material!
