    MAY BLITZ......sound a fantastic band JOE ....very inspiring!!! I must admit Id never heard of them before...but thats what im here for to get educated :D
    Is that the picture of the album sleeve..with a woman[?]with the hat on? its hideous!...reminds me of my ex:heheh: I have been taking interest in some of the bands youve mentioned......eg THUNDERMUG.....from Canada:cheers2

    Lou,

    There both the album covers. I think May Blitz was a comic character sometime ago in your country. I would recommend thier first Lp.

    A British band founded by ex-Deep Purple Bassist Nick Simper .Rick Wakeman did a short stint in the band as well :

    Wolf here is my favourite from thier s/t debut:


    Keeping the family tree alive from Captain Beyond, drummer Bobby Caldwell later joined forces with Kieth Relf(Yardbids), guitarist Martin Pugh and bassist Louis Cennamo from Steamhammer to form Armageddon in 1975. They only released one album due to Kieth Relf's death in 1976.

    This isn't very good sound quality.

    I have quite a few Captain Beyond albums, and one Warhorse I think...I'll have to look and make sure.

    One of the heaviest proto bands I have come across ..from 1971, reportedly coming out of Long Island,New York........their one & only release "Suddenly "

    SUDDEN DEATH :







    Some people call this noise ...I call it psychedelic proto-doom :heybaby:

    NICE Joe !!! I've never heard either before. I'm gonna try to add Writing on the Wall to my collection right now ,if I can.
