Yeah see?? That's a lot of bread. A buddy of mine order the International Blu Ray and a T-Shirt since he was already there....his bill was over 70 dollars...I'm like....man that's really for one, 1 hr. & 1/2 movie

It's all about how bad you want something.

Before ebay & cdnow.com (pre-internet for me), I could find import CD's at Camelot Records. I would frequently pay $30+ for an album, including those first two Captain Beyond CD's.

After the internet, I paid $200 & $80 for sealed copies of Quiet Riot I & II. But I guess by then I was "collecting".

Plus, with your buddy, you could pay $25+ for a good band t-shirt, even on ebay.

FLOOR JANSEN SIGNS ON TO NIGHTWISH FULLTIME:
Finnish symphonic metal act Nightwish has made the following announcement:
"Ms. Floor Jansen is a keeper. Also, we will be a six-piece band from now on, as Mr. Troy Donockley (uilleann pipes, low whistles, vocals) will become a full-time member of Nightwish. Originally we were going to wait until 2014 to make a decision about the future line-up of the band, but the past year has clearly shown us that Floor and Troy are perfect matching pieces to our puzzle, and we are really grateful of the bond that has grown between all of us. We love you guys."

Commented vocalist Floor Jansen: "Words cannot describe what I feel! This union is beyond everything and I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to continue this amazing journey with my new brothers! Once I had a dream…and this is it!!!"
Vocalist & pipe player Troy Donockley adds: "'Imaginaerum World Tour' was a revelation to me and in that time, I became aware of a growing unity and then, finally, a transcendence of all the usual nonsense that affects bands. A beautiful process. And since the idea, the musical dream that is Nightwish has been a part of me since before I was born, I am delighted to officially sail into uncharted waters with my brothers and sister. Wondrous scenes Ahoy!"

I, for one, think this is great news! In particular I was hoping Floor would become a permanent fixture as she fits so well

I wonder if Troy being a full-time member will have the band leaning more towards the folksy sound of the last 2 albums (which were great as far as I'm concerned) or if bringing in Floor will see them going more old-school Nightwish.

I'm thinking a bit more of both

They had the folky sound on the early albums though too
