I have a feeling they will keep Floor, I mean the fans really seem to love her and in the latest Finnish Interview Toumas was asked about the next singer and he mentioned: "If only I knew. We have agreed with Floor that we'll perform the concerts that have been already scheduled through the end of next summer and we'll enjoy ourselves. The feeling in the band is amazing at the moment. But what happens after that and WHETHER FLOOR WILL CONTINUE, we don't even want to think about it yet. ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE, but nothing is decided before 2014". She's been doing a fantastic job with the songs from what I've seen on YouTube. Floor (before being in NW) was a bit the underrated singer in the female fronted scene, despite being the best (imo) and pretty unique. (I can't think of another female vocalist that masters the powerful belting style and can do aggressive vocals as well.) This is why I always thought that if she is invited in NW, she'll jump on the opportunity. She loves NW too, there's no doubt about her passion, and who would refuse the opportunity to be in such a big band?

Listen to her Opera at 3:54 through 4:06 :pullhair:

Seriously wouldn't be surprised if she became the next NW singer :)

This is great, Floor fits even better than I expected :grinthumb

I was thinking of bumping this thread the other day.

I've been listening to Century Child a lot lately. For the most part I listen to Once, End Of An Era, DPP & Imaginaerum when I'm in a Nightwish mood.

4 tracks from Century Child are on End Of An Era and are 4 of my favorites there. I had forgotten how great the whole Century Child album was.

End Of All Hope & Dead To The World are great tracks as well, I've been repeating them a lot.

Also, I just finally got the Imaginaerum blu-ray/DVD set, but haven't gotten the chance to watch it. Obviously extremely visually impressive, I hope I can follow the story once I do watch it.

I'm a little disappointed with the tracklist. It's a bit shorter than I like to see on a DVD release. Some more classic era songs would have been welcome.

The setlist reads as follows (DVD1): 01. Dark Chest Of Wonders 02. Wish I Had An Angel 03. She Is My Sin 04. Ghost River 05. Ever Dream 06. Storytime 07. I Want My Tears Back 08. Nemo 09. Last Of The Wilds 10. Bless The Child 11. Romanticide 12. Amaranth 13. Ghost Love Score 14. Song Of Myself 15. Last Ride Of The Day 16. Outro (Imaginaerum).

I'll still get it though, I love Floor. In fact, I wish they had gotten Floor in the first place after Tarja.

It would've been a much more seamless transition and as I've said somewhere else, Floor's voice is so much more suited to this kind of music.

I can't wait for the new DVD...I sure hope THIS is going to be released in the States and that they ACTUALLY have information on it. The pre orders are on now.

I'm a little gun shy cause I didn't get Imaginaerum yet.

Anyone know if there will EVER be a U.S. release for the film anytime AT ALL...and when the new live DVD is supposed to hit the States hopefully at all??

I never had problems getting their stuff before. I'm not ordering all this stuff from Finland...you know how much it all costs in the end?? :pullhair:

I got Imaginaerum from the NW store. It's the Scandinavian version, so all the writing on the back of the case is Finnish (I think), but the movie is in English.

I'm just happy to finally have it in my hands though it did cost about $35 in total.
