New Song(s) you heard today

Whenever I am on the net (CRF forumming, facebooking, etc...) or doing some work on my computer, I always put on my favorite classic rock station. I have been a keen classic rock fan for many many years yet almost on a daily basis I hear new songs from classic bands which I know (or didn't know or never got about checking them out) about from various sources (CRF, radio, youtube etc).

New songs today
I was reading this post http://www.classicrockforums.com/forum/f2/cobo-arena-20854/#post480489 and saw Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band mentioned by Travellin Man (#3). I did a quick wikipedia and was youtubing on the Silver Bullet band.

I discovered something terrible earlier tonight. Shakira singing Nothing Else Matters (by Metallica).

Seeing those words in the same sentence is almost as upsetting as "Dolly Parton" and "Stairway to Heaven".

I am quite embarrassed that I actually went and saw the video! Reverse psychology!

I think Shakira has a beautiful voice (I liked listening to her world cup songs and other big hits of hers..They are good fun for occasional listenings.) But her trying to sing a Metallica song just doesn't work at all! That was quite painful TBH.

Anyway, another new band..
