So who have you discovered lately? Doesn't have to be a new band or anything. Just an artist you never listened to and just recently got into.

For me it would be Griffin House - he's relatively new. Great singer/songwriter ala James Taylor and the like.

For existing bands that have been around a while, I finally got into Oasis. I was doing what I accuse others of doing, not liking a band based on artist's personality or something. Someone requested them at my site and I gave them a closer listen and discovered, they really are good. Perhaps not as good as they think they are but pretty good. Still don't like the song Wonder Wall but love the other stuff they put out. What's The Story, Morning Glory is most excellent and so far my favorite of what I've heard out of their catalog.

Rob ****inson isn't new, he's the former lead singer of the band Catherine Wheel - a favorite of mine. He put out a solo effort called Fresh Wine For The Horses which I am growing fonder of each time I listen to it.

So, what's your new latest and greatest discovery?

Nope, haven't heard "Jenny" just All the Things I have Done, which is a cool song. :)

The whole album is pretty cool. Hot Fuss it's called - I think.

I think I will have to buy it soon. Hey, have you heard Cheryl Crow's Wildflower album? If so what do you think of it. I just bought it last night.

I've heard selected songs off of it but haven't gotten it yet. Definitely on my list of things to get.

All the songs sound kind of similar but there are a few that could stand out. I usually have to listen to an album again to really take notice.

I'm still an avid fan of Anna Nalick and Silvertide. They both need to release more material though, I know they could and there's nothing wrong with a little bit of filler (I actually think filler is an important part, 'cause when you're just fooling around and stretching your abilities that's when the best stuff comes out. Songs such as Pinball Wizard and Smoke on the Water were just filler to begin with).
