Guys I reattached the shaft and counter-weight using a small dose of industrial strength Loctite Super Glue. It has a firm hold and I can once again calibrate things to where they need to be. It's working great. If it ever breaks again, well I'll just have to look into replacing the tonearm I guess.

I've got that link in our Wax thread and the Stereo Equipment thread for a long time now Wolf.

But it is hands down the best analog site I've found on the net. They are going to love me come May.

And "Well Done BCM"...glad you have sorted it out yourself. If I were you and loved that particular TT, keep looking for another one on vintage sites and buy it. That way you will never run out of parts. Someone here had the Identical TT/Tonearm for sale that I own for $450.00, which amazed me since I bought mine in 1979. I was so tempted to buy it...but I am not buying anything until I finish moving and it's gone now. Was only listed for 2 days before it got snapped up.
