@Phil B. glad you liked it. Not sure if you are familiar w/ Candlemass or not ..they were a big doom metal band that formed in the 80s. The bass player and main song writer Leif Edling is now the main riff machine in Avatruim. Might just dig Candlemass as well ...Nightfall is a classic.
@Jet ...not real bullets...It just a look. No one really wears that stuff too much anymore was an 80s Thrash Metal thing. Just for a few of the bands really..

GRAND MAGUS - Triumph and Power
These sons of Sweden could be called old fashioned heavy metal with bit of a Sabbath overtune...in other words Epic Doom metal for the majority of their discography. Triumph and Power is bit less Sabbathy and large degree more Manowar-ish. Less pompous in it's attitude it takes on a euro flavored Hail to England vibe. Good old school heavy metal romping here...highly recommended.

EXMORTUS - Is all about the balls out exhilaration of THE SHRED....full boar in your face balls to the wall speed sherd Death/Thrash. One most exciting releases of the genre in a good while IMO.

It's now time to take a little walk on the macabre side of metal...Autopsy is by far one of my all timers
in Death metal. they were away for awhile but have come back strong since 2011. Not to the same fanfare
but ......I'm in firmly in the pro Autopsy came back camp. They mix it up musically ..some parts doomy ...parts old school Death
and some parts grimy and grindy...sticking to their gorey guns ...a horrifically good time is guaranted
for all..this stuff is KILLER!!!!'haha ...not for the faint of heart... be forewarned

Ah how the **** did I forget about that one? Autopsy I overlooked which is a travesty because their new album was a slab of headcrushing death metal brilliance. A year after they put out their last one I was initially a bit sceptical about the quality but I know after hearing it they did not let up.
