Triptykon pick up where Monothesis the last and my second favorite Celtic Frost
full length left off. Dark brooding powerful and haunting. The music Is uniquely Tom G Warrior...doomy thrashy gothic and industrial. ..plus hauntingly beautiful at times...in a very disturbing way. Melana Chasmata Is definitely one of my top three so far this year.

Same here but Melana Chastmata gets better with more listens. A couple listens don't do it justice.

Yeah I concur. I've heard it numerous times and it is one that requires patience. I enjoy that album a lot. Cool thread, keen to see more entries.

I have been waiting and waiting for that to drop here, but no luck so far, so guess what, I will go order it online right now - in fact, I should have long ago. Tom is one of my favourite artists and I expect this album to be high on my list of favourite albums of 2014!

I didn't buy it yet either, but I have listened to it on YouTube, and I love it. Petty at his finest. He just never lets you down.

So true! I have avoided any streams - not that I have anything against them, but when I know I am going to buy an album, I try not to hear anything from it, until I get the physical copy! Well, I went and ordered it.
