^^A&M records was a great label, they always had the nice plastic lined sleeves to protect the vinyl, the records themselves sounded great generally. Compared to CBS whom I thought were the worst quality of the big labels from my personal experience.

Sad day when A&M closed the doors.

Frampton Comes Alive seemed to be an anomaly, it's got some good songs "Show Me The Way" being my personal pick.

I've still got an A&M catalogue which I think I picked up in Boots' Chemists in 1976! I wish I still had my Island catalogues.

^^I like Peter Frampton and his double live album is good but I also agree with you I don't get why he's being given this award.:dunno:

I think he's being included because he's a good guitar player. This award seems to be about musicianship, not star power, which is why guys like Ben Keith and Will Lee are included.
