Marina and the Diamonds' new album, Electric Heart, was released on 27th April.

Marina has gone all electronic and bubblegum poppy, which is a major disappointment for me. I'm doubtful I'll be picking this album up as the above song doesn't grab me in any way, shape or form and the few other songs I've heard from it are far too techno-ey (for want of a better word) for my taste. I highly suspect this offering will see her become more popular though, in fact Primadonna apparently went straight into UK charts at 11, making it Marina's higfhest peaking single to date, so it certainly looks that way.
I'll get round to listening to all the tracks off Electric Heart at some point but what I've heard so far is not making me want to rush and do that!
