He has raised nearly £10,000 so far and plans to spend the next week listening to the Canadian band’s entire catalogue. First and foremost, let me state that I 100% agree with WSD on the idea that Nickelback is a grossly underrated band and all the hate that gets spewed their way just doesn’t make any sense. So now that that’s all cleared up, it’ll make more sense as to why I’m saying that Jesse Carey is the biggest fraud this side of the Mississippi (I don’t know what side of the Mississippi he’s on). I mean sure, listening to 168 straight hours of anything sounds pretty torturous. But I’m willing to put all my money on the line that Jesse Carey actually likes Nickelback and he’s just using their terrible reputation to pull a fast one on all of us. You want me to give you my moneys? Listen to 168 straight hours of Meghan Trainor and then maybe we’ll have a discussion. Listening to Nickelback on loop ain’t no walk in the park, but who walks in the park anyway. Fun Fact of the Day: You get like 20 hours of adrenaline every time that “Rockstar” comes on, rendering this the least impressive feat ever. I get it’s for a good cause and everything, but it’s just a shame that so many people are falling right into this obvious trap.
