Hope we haven't done this before. What live versions do you think far outshine their studio counterparts?

Here are some of mine.

The vocal performance here is so much stronger than in the studio:

The Weld version is actually my favorite although the studio version is really good too:

Almost everything on this album could count but Immigrant Song is particularly fierce. Check out that beastly solo:

Another one I love everything from but I love the new version they did of this, big and bad almost like a James Brown kind of thing:

I'd also like to post Neil Young's ridiculous version of Last Trip to Tulsa from Cantebury House but there's not a lot of Neil stuff on youtube.

I have always preferred this version off Ted's Double Live Gonzo to the studio version.

I much prefer the versions of No Quarter, Dazed and Confused, Whole Lotta Love, and Moby Dick from The Song Remains The Same. Also most anything off of Kiss Alive! and Frampton Comes Alive is better than its studio counterpart.

I live in Buffalo, NY
Deuce from Kiss Alive & She from Kiss Alive

Honey Hush by Foghat

Star Star by the Stones

Some people will probably disagree w/ me on this one because I'm Going Against the Original band but I actually prefer "I'm 18" from the Alice Cooper Show. I'm a freak over the original band & I love the original version. Cooper's voice is much better on the original version but on the live version Dick Wagner & Steve Hunter's guitar work is amazing & it was that live version (which was the first time I heard the song) that turned me into a Cooper freak

^^Nothing like the Shotgun approach eh Groovy Man?...:heheh:

Here's a rarity for me an album that I like every song better live than the studio cuts, and I love this band.(Double Live Gonzo is the only other album I have similar feelings about.)
