Just picked up one of their later albums on CD and it is very good, not as good as the earlier ones but still the writing is great, the album is Roll On. Ruby.

    Thanks Sweaty!

Most reviews I've read over the years weren't too favourable for this one, but I'll look for the CD and give it a listen.

I cut my live acoustical teeth at The Beamish Mary near Stanley 2003/4 with Kevin Phillipson who co-wrote this tune with Alan Hull:

He played it at The Mary the night of the final final final Lindisfarne gig. It was sublime

Just been to the local theater to see The Lindisfarne Story with Ray Laidlaw and Billy Mitchell, what a very good evening with some acoustic songs, video clips and some banter. Nearly sold out, good to see loads of people there and enjoying themselves, in true style I met them both afterwards.

Still loving this band was great to go to Lindisfarne island and drink lady ealanor beer authorised by the band, tasted good and said, I'm alright where I am, on the label, good times.you have to have the first 3 albums and some ALan Hull albums too, sadly missed and overlooked.
