Hehehe now I got people talking about ITTOD
Glad people do like that album though I think it is under rated.

Press conference

Reporter: (asking Robert) will there will EVER be a Zeppelin reunion?

Robert: (looking puzzled) huh?

Reporter: You know, that band you were in 30-40 yrs ago.

Robert: (even more puzzled) "wait, wuh!?!" :wtf:

Been listening to How the West Was Won today. I'm not usually one for live albums (they're just not usually my thing) but this one has a lot of tracks that are almost as good as the studio recordings! And unlike The Song Remains the Same, Plants vocals are still up to par on this live album (it was recorded in 1972 as opposed to TSRTS which was recorded in '73 around the time Plant supposedly had throat surgery) and overall it has a good upbeat energy to it and they bring life to a lot of their songs on it. A lot of fans prefer BBC Sessions but I think this one knocks its pants off! :grinthumb

Bron-Y-Aur Stomp And this is what I was talking about when I said I almost like some of the songs on here as much as the studios. They really brought new life to this one and got the crowd going!

I'm listening right now to the 1970 boot "Blueberry Hill", named so because the last song they play is the famous "Bluberry Hill" song.

My favorite era is the first 3 fiscal years of the band: the very beginning of '69 they were putting the finishing touches on the debut and were already playing gigs as Led Zeppelin-to-the end of 1971 when they just completed LZ IV and Plant's vocals were still high and the band was still hungry. I still to this day have only heard one or maybe 2 versions of "Black Dog" that he hits those high notes. By the time the '72 tour was underway, that song was never again to be played anything close to the studio version, which isnt a huge deal but it is what it is.
