    I agree, Sox. The debut is ultimately their best album. "Led Zeppelin....the only way to fly". I love the euphemisms of the early advertising for this album :heheh:

    You know the saying about hind sight.........well I can remember how LZ was shot down by critics when this album came out. The critics had some choice bad descriptive names for Page/Plant. The public loved it though, and the critics began changing their opinions.

    Now we realize how influential LZ was to music. It is amazing how opinions change over time.

    Magic the British music press are notoriously critical but they can and will flex with popular opinion. I don't take any notice of 80 per cent of the rubbish they have written and still write.

    I agree too. Also "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" is a top song by them for me. :grinthumb

    I used to listen to more Zeppelin when I was younger. I have a soft spot for III, and Physical Graffiti. Favorite songs are Achilles last Stand, bring it on Home, Friends/ Celebration day.
