I'm going to get eaten by the Metalheads for even pretending to be capable of describing Metal genres but I believe sludge metal is just how it sounds. A slow kind of brooding pace with sludgy heavy riffs. Anyway, I think the reason the comments had to be taken off was likely because they had the gall to put better than the original right on the vid. That's bound to piss people off!
Not gonna get eaten for that by me, the description of slow heavy riffs at such a 'brooding' pace as you say is pretty much what it is
Pity the comments got turned off because of that, I like that one better then the original too.
