Kids ~ song from the Simpsons

Another funny little offbeat song which I heard on the radio - it also found it's way onto an episode of The Simpsons - with the oldest folks running everything again!

The version I was familiar with being the Kirby Stone Four Version from 1960:



I found this version from Paul Lynde which was done as a Halloween special in 1976:

That's were that song came from......good stuff....It seemed too rehearsed for a Simpson's song...

I think that the song "What's the Matter with Kids Today" came from the movie "Bye Bye Birdie"

Yes that is correct and that is probably where The Simpsons got it from. I only heard it on the radio before anywhere else and I still haven't seen Bye Bye Birdie!
