Riot Act is a nice simple punk addition to Skid Row’s second album. Not one of my favorite songs, but not a bad song, either. 7.5/10


Something from 1976…..it name drops “Master of Reality”.

Musically it was heavy and interesting, vocally - not really. 7/10.

Deep & sludgy. Stoner-ish with some psychedelics tossed in….new band for me. Not what I would listen to on the daily, but I have to admit, it’s pretty good! 8/10

They sound like fellow NWOBHM band Satan; in that they got crisper and more refined as they got older. Great guitar tone and vocals. 8.5/10

Too many electronic elements, but nonetheless it sounds heavy and aggressive. Not bad. 7/10.

Woah! From their new album I was going to post this album in my latest in brutality & cold steel thread. Outstanding! This song and “Lightning Strikes” are my album picks. 9/10

Epic Swashbucklers! Rugged, thrash tinged, chaotic mix….but this style fits Alestorm.

It's great that after many years the band's new music clearly shows a return to the roots, to the melodism and simplicity of the first albums. Of course, Tony now sings in a lower register, but the song is still very pleasant and catchy. 9/10.

Timeless pirate power metal masters with always catchy, hooking riffs and great vocals. No exception here. 9/10
