Some of the songs are a bit too short I think. And I like the horn sections with some songs. The title song is beautiful and this one is way too short.

I've bought everything else Joe has released so far and this will be no different. I love Joe, Howlin' Wolf and Muddy Waters, so this should be yet another winner!
It's damn near impossible to narrow a recommendation down to just one album, but anything from "Sloe Gin" and onwards - I do love his albums before that, but I tend to listen to "Sloe Gin" and later releases more than his older stuff. So yeah, start with "Sloe Gin" and move forward!
He has released several live albums and I want to throw a live recommendation in there. Try "Beacon Theatre: Live From New York". It has some great guests on it: Beth Hart, Paul Rodgers and John Hiatt.
Stepping away from his solo stuff, he has done two studio albums and a live album with Beth Hart, all of which is obviously essential stuff and Black Country Communion, his band with Glenn Hughes, Jason Bonham and Derek Sherinian, is also can't miss stuff!
As I've said earlier in this thread, Joe is one of my favourite "new" (as in 2000s) guitarists. I'm pretty obsessive with him and buy everything he releases blindly. I have yet to regret any of it - in other words, you can't really go wrong with any of his albums!
