So here's an official clip from the show ("This Train" again):

I wonder why they're not releasing it on Blu-ray/DVD. I guess the might eventually, unless they simply don't have footage from the whole show.

Here's a brand new project from Joe:

On May 15, 2020, Provogue Records will release the first LP by The SLeep EAZYs (or The SLEAZYs, if you will), a band with Joe Bonamassa, Anton Fig, Michael Rhodes, Reese Wynans and John Jorgenson with special guests popping in and out throughout the album.

On "Easy To Buy, Hard To Sell", Joe digs deep into the history of country, rock & roll and jazz, to pay tribute to some of the great players that influenced him as a young guitarist, like Hank Garland, Jimmy Bryant, Link Wray, Tony Joe White, King Curtis, and Danny Gatton. After Reese Wynans' first solo album "Sweet Release", "Easy To Buy, Hard To Sell" is the second album produced by Joe Bonamassa.

Tracklisting:
A1. Fun House (Danny Gatton)
A2. Move (Hank Garland)
A3. Ace of Spades (Link Wray)
A4. Ha So (Jimmy Bryant)
A5. Hawaiian Eye (late 50s/early 60s TV theme)
B1. Bond (On Her Majesty's Secret Service) (John Barry)
B2. Polk Salad Annie (Tony Joe White)
B3. Blue Nocturne (King Curtis)
B4. It Was A Very Good Year (Frank Sinatra)

CD out on April 10
Vinyl out on May 15

I've already pre-ordered the vinyl, but I'm slightly annoyed that I'll have to wait a month longer than the CD buyers.

There's still a little over a month until Joe's The SLeep EAZYs project drops on vinyl (the CD is out now), but Joe has just released a brand new single, that will supposedly feature on an, as of yet, untitled new album to be released later this year.

Joe has just announced a new album:

The wait is over for a new Joe Bonamassa solo studio album! Royal Tea was inspired by his British guitar heroes Jeff Beck, John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers, Eric Clapton and Cream and recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios.

This album reconnects the 43-year-old with the guitar-slinging kid from upstate New York, who stumbled across the best of British blues music in his dad’s vinyl collection – whose influences have shaped him to be the player he is today. These ten original tracks were co-written by Joe and a cast of homegrown notables including former Whitesnake guitarist Bernie Marsden, ex-Cream lyricist Pete Brown and national-treasure piano man Jools Holland.

"Royal Tea" track listing:
01. When One Door Opens
02. Royal Tea
03. Why Does It Take So Long To Say Goodbye
04. Lookout Man!
05. High Class Girl
06. A Conversation With Alice
07. I Didn't Think She Would Do It
08. Beyond The Silence
09. Lonely Boy
10. Savannah

Royal Tea will be released October 23, 2020 on the following formats:

48-page limited edition artbook includes the album on CD, shiny gold vinyl, with exclusive photos and 4 features especially written for this release: Abbey Road, British Blues, Royal Tea and Guitar Commentary.

Transparent double vinyl (including a complimentary download for pre-orders from the MLG store)

Deluxe Limited Edition Tin Case CD.

Looks like I've totally forgotten to mention this one...

Twenty years ago, Joe Bonamassa took the music world by storm when he released his debut solo album A New Day Yesterday. Today, the blues-rock titan announces a revamped version to be released on August 7th via Provogue Records, that has been completely re-sung by Bonamassa and remixed and remastered by long-time producer Kevin Shirley.

This re-release comes with 3 bonus tracks, produced and written with Steven Van Zandt, the legendary guitarist from Bruce Springsteen's E-Street Band. To complete the new package, the album has been rebranded with an appropriate title: A New Day Now - 20th Anniversary Edition.

Here's the old version for comparison:

Just got an e-mail saying the new album has been shipped, which reminded me to update this thread with a couple of new videos.
