I watched a show on Investigation Discovery about Jimi Hendrix last 24 hours.......it was cool to actually see some real footage of him just before he died

These types of rumors have been floating around for years. Unfortunately, the evidence to back up many of these claims is often soft or missing all together.
They are interesting hypotheses, regardless.

...picked up a copy of "Smash Hits" yesterdaze. Included was this big 'ole honking poster of all Hendrix, Redding and Mitchell all on horseback with serapes on. Really cool.

Yes sir, that is the one. The original Reprise three color label too. Love vinyl! My buddy has "Electric Ladyland" on hold for me. I had the U.K. "nude" cover version two decades ago which I foolishly sold to get into the CD boom.

Up next for me is the release of the Miami Pop Festival. I saw it yesterday. Nice looking digipack.

Nice pick-ups! Smash Hits is the best introduction to Jimi in my opinion. (All versions of it )
