No one can deny Morrison‘s stage antics, theatrics, or larger-than-life presence. He was definitely a performer, even if some performances were in very bad taste.

I do not dispute this.

I also have said I love the LA Woman album, but his voice & vocals are hit and miss. when it’s bad, it’s really bad.

I agree with you. There really are some bad examples from him, you've posted at least one...

I think you can hear the deterioration of his health through his voice in some instances. It's the same with a lot of artists before they dropped like a rock.

Like I have stated several times, Jim could sing, and sing very well……but when he stinks, I skip those songs.

Like in the movie when they recording Touch Me.. Jim was a total mess.. SHIT faced.. You would think that why not try to do a song a little less drunk. And he was very anti commercial and felt you were selling out to give into TV show jingles..
The end thing is that they only lasted a decade and what a ride that 10 years were for them.

I'm very happy he shoved LIGHT MY FIRE in Ed Sullivan's face..

My friend Greg is a big fan and went to Paris for a vacation and to visit an actress he knew so he visited Morrisons's grave at Pere Lachaise cemetery. This is a stock photo but I have one with him standing next to the grave.
