Oh almost forgot - Jethro Tull were brill last night And we had great seats - right near the front just a few metres from Ian Anderson. It's the first time I've seen them and was very impressed
Okay I am posting another album, then we can get back to plotting our "Heist".
After Passion Play and Thick As A Brick, Tull released a normal record 1974's War Child. My sister actually bought the 45 of "Bungle In The Jungle", before I picked up the album so that was the first song I heard off the record. Funny thing that song seemed to attract fans that previously didn't like Tull at all, especially a few of my Neil Diamond and Olivia Newton John loving friends. I tried to tell them that song was an anomaly, and they should dig deeper into Real Tull but they just wouldn't have it. Anyhow, it was a good record if not of the caliber of Aqualung and the band would never again release massive two track albums like Brick or Passion. There is a deluxe remastered edition released in 2002 that includes some top notch bonus material, if you are going to pick this one up I would get that one, I just have the regular edition.
My favorite song off this album and one of Tull's best in my opinion.
