Re: Jethro Tull

Thanks for the background on Bloodwyn Pig Jeffrey, I didn't know it was Abraham's band after he left Tull.

Re: Jethro Tull

Ex Tull members crop up everywhere these days. For example Clive Bunker played with Mick Abrahams (before Mick's illness) and also with The Gathering

Barrie Barlow has his own recording studio and has worked with Amy Whitehouse.

Glenn Cornick performs at Tull Conventions and lives in California.

Jonathan Noyce backed Gary Moore during a Thin Lizzy tribute gig. It may have also been a short tour.

Andy Giddings writes film music

This has now been re-issued with a second cd of the St Bride's charity bash from a couple of years ago at the same price as the original issue. The re-issue states the inclusion of the St Bride's concert on the cover so go for that one over the single cd version.

Some of the tracks on the second cd are "readings" etc from the St Bride's service and are not Tull and the strange aspect of the whole release is that Ian Anderson requested that there should be no applause between songs, only after the final track. An interesting recording nontheless and money from its sale goes to a charity concerned with the homeless.

Joe Jackson did a similar thing with his Big World album. It was recorded live in a club, with an audience, but they were instructed not to applaud, and in general not make any noise at all. There's nary a peep from them through the whole disc.
