Jeff Beck vs....Pavarotti?

"Nessun Dorma" is one of my favorite arias in all of opera and it is usually assosiated with Luciano Pavarotti, one of my favorite singers of all time. BUT how does he stack up against a guitar icon in a classic rock crowd? You be the judge.

Pavarotti it's awsome, and has a great voice, but Jeff Beck in in my wave. So I preffer his version

I'll take Luciano in this one...I like both of the 3 Tenor concerts with him, Domingo and Carreras and have them on VHS.

Beck did a very nice job with his version though.

Both versions are gorgeous but pavarotti's version gives me the goosebumps. In a really good way that is.

Cool matchup and something we don't normally see around here. As outstanding as Lucky Luciano was (and that's a great performance imho), I have to go with the versatile and wonderful performance by Jeff Beck. The guy can make a guitar sing, no doubt about it.
