I think that if you think Janis is hot than that's great. The key word for me in this thread was hot. I see Janis as someone who experienced a lot of pain in her life and it shows. I don't normally associate pain with HOT. As far as Janis as a person, I didn't know her personally but I can certainly understand why she decided to rebel and show those who treated her like a piece of crap that she could be famous. And that's just based on the books and media I've seen.

I didn't want to elaborate on how I feel about her singing or her personal life because that wasn't the original question. Oh and hot or not, I would never base her looks on a decision to actually be attracted to her.

The entire premise of Cosmic's thread is simple enough, it has nothing to do with accomplishments, personality or if you are shallow enough to base your feelings on appearance alone, it was simply "Hot...or Not?"

Personally anyone who thinks she is beautiful or highly desirable just from looking at her pictures, I would suggest a trip to the optometrist as soon as possible.

For the record it works both ways, when I go to the gym the ladies there do the same thing we do, which is check us out from a purely physical standpoint.
