Definitely! Eclectic is the perfect word! I listen to Michael Bublé, The Beatles, Buddy Guy, etc. My spouse listens to what I play. I bought our sound system! But, thankfully, we have the same taste in music.

It’s nice you both enjoy the same music. My hubby bought me a really nice headphone set called “skull candy” which has equalizer adjustments and a booster. I like some fairly heavy music and he doesn’t.
