It's just, I don't want to deal with Madonna, Prince and Michael Jackson being called rock artists.

You realize you can vote how you see fit. If enough voters feel the same way then you don't need to worry about it, and our Hall of Fame will be a new and improved version. Personally, I am not embarrassed by Prince or Michael Jackson in the Hall of Fame. Rock certainly developed from mixtures of country, jazz, and soul, so who's to say?
