Master of Reality! It may have been a bad move looking back at it now but I traded an original Sgt Pepper album for Master of Reality because I was so blown away by it when a friend played it for me. I had never heard of Sabbath before that & I had to have that record. I never smoked pot in my life but I loved the coughing at the beginning of Sweet Leaf & the song it self was awesome. The funny thing was that even though I'd lay back & sing along with the words to it I never knew it was about weed & had I realized it I probably never would've traded for it because my parents were really against drugs & at that time so was I. As I grew older into my late teens every one I knew except for one other person was heavy into pot so it never bothered me if someone was smoking up around me I just never touched it.

Both albums belong in everyone's 70's collection, but Deep Purple never seems to get enough love so they get my vote.

one of my favorite Sabbath albums
you cant beat songs or riffs like Into The Void, Sweet Leaf, and Children Of The Grave.
Master of Reality is such a raw and heavy album.
