Actually you've gained credibility in my opinion! I love the dance, funk, old school rap and overall party vibe on this list! I highlighted the ones in my personal collection! I'm getting more and more impressed with the diversity I'm seeing here from both new and old posters!

It's kind of weird for me because in the 80's I'd go see Local Bands 3 times a week(at Least!) & in between the sets at most of the clubs it was these songs that were played & for the longest time I hated it but after a while I didn't mind it,plus girls would cram the dance floor. I'll never forget the first time I went to a Dance Club.I didn't realize what kind of place it would be & I was probably 20 years old.A bunch of people I worked with at a supermarket were going up this club at 11PM & I was working until then so I brought a change of clothes.I walked into a club with "Give it To me" by Rick James blaring.I met up with my friends & the girls have their tight Jordache Jeans & the guys have aligator shirts & Member's Only Jackets.Boy did I feel out of place & I really hated the music.A couple of girls wanted me to dance but I said no(actually I had no idea how to).Well the drinks were going down & next thing I know 2 of the girls dragged me up on the floor.I had no idea how to dance so I shuffled my feet like an NHL goalie chopping up his goal crease in between periods!!The thing that sucked was that it was the extended Dance mix version of "You Dropped a Bomb on me" & I must've been quite a sight up their with my 6' 4"/260lb frame,a Black ZZ Top T Shirt,Levi's,& Cowboy Boots!
