Soot and Stars
I AM SOOT!
I like that idea too, but as Sooty said, no cherry picking. For me, that means don't put one great song on an album and the rest are average at best. I think that artists need to tour to push their new album. But I also think that something should be done about the outrageous prices you have to pay to see a big act in concert. Something should be done about that life-force sucking Ticketmaster and ticket brokers. I paid over $4000 grand for two people to see Paul McCartney, but that is it for me as far as concerts go. It would be nice to get a free CD or album with the tickets, but then again that is never going to happen.
As far as Taylor Swift having three perfumes that is just plain greed. I'll never buy that crud. If Paul comes out with a men's cologne, I believe that would be sign the world is coming to an end. However, Paul does make money in the music publishing business which to me is smart.
Most of the time people think there's one good song because they are complacent to get spoon fed a single by the radio and not want to give the rest of the album a try. I rarely come across any albums only worth one good song.

That's funny!!
