:heheh:

Yeah Ozzy was in Sabbath from '69 to '79 until rejoining the band in the 90's and then on and off again with them at Ozz Fest. Ronnie James Dio (RIP) was their second singer who rejoined and recorded a new album with them a short while ago before he passed away.

Here is some good RJD Sabbath

Welcome Clockwork! I'll answer your last question first, then give you some recommendations :)

My favourite album of all time is Nursery Cryme by Genesis:

I find it to be stunningly epic and definitively odd! :D

As for my recommendations, I have plenty of prog, some blues and a lot of classic rock to choose from but I'll post some guitar orientated songs first.

Wishbone Ash:

Deep Purple:

Uriah Heep:

Genesis (songs from their concept album The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway):

Porcupine Tree:

King Crimson:

let me know what you think, and I can get some more ready :)

With Genesis, I played on your love of "The Wall". I consider "The Lamb" to have many similar characteristics, but I guess it wasn't meant to be...at least not yet! ;)

Alright, I'll hoist you up some more! :grinthumb

Rush:

Yes:

The Mars Volta (They get a bit crazy)

Focus:

Mostly Autumn:

In MY honest opinion, you kinda started with one of the WORST albums of all time and THE worst Floyd album to date........now HONESTLY, go listen to See Emily play, Careful with that axe Eugene, Arnold Layne if you wanna hear WIMPLESS rock and GREAT Floyd sound:):)

Dude, this artist doesn't have one bad song but this particular performance is amazing to the point of chills when you hear it! It's a once in a lifetime musically spiritual experience!
