Welcome butt!

It's nice to talk with my... butt! :)

I don't think I could guide you, because I only play guitar for 3 years.
Firstly I played with tablatures (and sometimes I still use it). Then I learned the principals chords (And when I see a new one on a song I try to remember "Ah it's a "B7" chord, because sometimes I play a chord but I forget the name (when it's more complicated) ah ah).
And now I learned the 4 main scales. 4 Scales You Should Know | Guitar Teacher

There's people with high guitar skills who could help you ! Here or on another site (Like Chordie.com)

Where are you from? What's your favorite bands?

Well, It is nice feeling to read this post and curious to know about your guitars. Put here lead guitars. I want to know about them then I'll buy.

Youtube is one of the single best sources for free guitar lessons anywhere on the internet. If you find something more legitimate or helpful, I'd like to see it.

Granted, you have to pick and choose what you watch. There are several very good guitar instructors that provide a video lesson that includes guitar tab right there in the video. step by step instructions on thousands of songs.

If you are just starting out, stay away from people that are either just showing how they play something. some are complete amatures and others have incredible note-for-note replications. Go with lessons. Learn fundamentals (scales and chords). As you progress, then look to the more advanced videos.
