Happy Birthday to Black Sabbath and the release of their first album, Black Sabbath

Black_Sabbath_debut_album.jpg

Released on February 13th, 1970 in the United Kingdom, and
later on June 1st, 1970 in the United States.

Great album and is considered by many to be the first true
"Heavy metal album". I can't disagree. My favorite tune
being N.I.B.

^^I concur they were the progenitors of the Heavy Metal sound.

I still have my original Vinyl album,,,and it is in Perfect condition...in fact I'm going to play it right now.

I've been playing a bit of Sabbath lately. Already played this album today, but will probably play it again later tonight, out of respect for one of the most influential bands ever. Some people may argue with me on that, but I don't care. BS = the grandfathers of heavy metal.

'nuff said!

THE HEAVY METAL BAND.

For me the greatest heavy metal band of all time and the first heavy metal band.

Just an amazing song right here, very influential on Doom metal.

Just another bad ass song by Sabbath.

One of the best debut albums ever.

''Warning'', ''The Wizard'', ''Black Sabbath'', this album is too much!
