I’m not as impressed with this album as the debut. Still a decent album, though. There is a varied mix in music styles on Synergy; from popish tunes, jazzy tunes, folk tunes, bluesy tunes, to jams.
Don’t think it was the Agora…..the public hall is the same as the public auditorium on Lakeside Ave….built in the early 1900’s. The Agora is a theater on Euclid Ave.
I can tell you from the get go……I don’t like the album opener, “See Saw”.
The album puts me in mind of Simon & Garfunkel, with more intense guitar licks, which could be because they recorded at Jimi Hendrix’s Electric Ladyland and had access to Jimi’s tricks, tools, and sound effects. The album moves at a slow pace, very mellow. It’s not a bad album, but not what I would listen to more than once….
