I have one Agalloch CD:

I really like this CD....the music puts me in a quiet, ambient place

Here's a band I really like, Mago de Oz, and they sing in Spanish. Despite that I highly recommend this album, I play it once a month or so and they are excellent, and they even do an awesome cover of the classic Kansas song "Dust in the Wind".

I discovered this group as a fluke on youtube. The vocalist is a monk  The vocals are in Italian, but this guy is amazing and so is the music.

The album I posted was recommended to me by a friend from Puerto Rico, who speaks Spanish fluently. He waxed so eloquent about this band I had to check them out, and Folktergeist was the one he wanted me to start with. It's a double live CD from a festival they headlined, if that makes a difference to you MP.

I like it even though it's all in Spanish. Here's a site I use quite often, maybe it will help you decide.

Mago de Oz
