I might have to pick up the Special Editions tomorrow night in Danbury, CT, just picked up tickets yesterday i didn't realize she was playing there and its not far less than an hour from work. I missed the show in NYC last weekend for NEARfest.

I'm in love with the album Aktivator! What I love about Fiona and her writing is she sticks with a universal theme, personifies it and comes up with vivid imagery that only works in Fiona's world. I just watched the bonus DVD Live and it was awesome!

So I finally decided to give Fiona a listen, and wow, she is something else! This is the first song I've heard so far and I'm loving it:



After being so immersed in complex prog lately, it's a nice change to hear something low key and beautiful such as this. I can't even explain what makes it so good, (Perhaps that will come with more listens) but at the moment it's just marvellously pleasant to listen to!

That show is only 20 minutes away from here.. Sadly due to financial setbacks I couldn't make it Hope you enjoy the show

Interesting to read that Charley Drayton had apparently helped produce her new album. The husband of Divinyls Chrissy Amphlett. I happened to stumble on that bit of info and figured I might actually check Fiona's songs out too.
