Yeah, I'd read he was really ill for a while and he really didn't look good, but he was making new music right up till the end.

Fergie almost replaced Steve Walsh in Kansas,but they went with John Elefante instead.

There were 3 tracks recorded (Whips, Troubleshooter, Should've Known Better) available on the Rarities album.

He was definitely in demand.
