Australia's Divine Ascension is a must check out for those into power/progressive type metal.

A couple of upcoming releases I am REALLY excited about:

I can't wait for the Leaves' Eyes album. Symphonies of the Night was a little bit of a downturn from the previous 2 albums, but still great.

I like TMOMS, but haven't bought any of their albums yet. Angelica looks like a porn star, but can really sing. I have a couple of their videos saved to my computer.

You should definitely get the two TMOMS albums and also Angelica's solo album, which is not metal, but AOR!

The first single from Leaves' Eyes new album "King of Kings":

:bow::bow::bow:

No big surprises, but solid as always. Really excited about the new album!

This track sounds a little darker than previous stuff, and a little more epic than we've heard in a while.

I hope the album is as good.

Both tracks I've heard so far are more epic than anything they've done in a while.

The chorus is more front and center, and a welcome addition. I've always loved the choral arrangements done by Sirenia.

I'm glad for a true video, even if it's just scenes in a forest.

That's a ton of cool bands but I read the whole thread and I didn't see these.

1. Halestorm - I Get Off

2. In This Moment - The Gun Show

Both bands are female fronted. And Liv Kristine was epic with Cradle of Filth on Nymphetamine.
Hanzel und Gretyl are also 1/2 female fronted but they are also seriously progressive. But they do extreme & industrial metal sometimes.

Halestorm is awesome! Gotta love Lzzy Hale! Such great guitar work and songwriting in that band.
