maybe a different kind of love in its intention (I guess she's written this for a dead person), but still love, and still heartbreaking to me

You've liked her? I'm so happy... this lady is one of the most important and well respected singer/songwriter in Italy... 90% of her songs are in English, though, and she has experimented many genres... to give you an idea, take Alanis Morrisette, Bjork and Joni Mitchell and put them in one only body, and you'll obtain Elisa. She has recently sung for Quentin Tarantino for the Ost of Django Unchained a song named "Ancora Qui" (=Still here)...
Is it evident she's one of my favorite singers? XD
(Better to stop, I'm afraid I'm going off topic ;-) )

:heheh: Don't worry about it. I'm the same way if someone picks up on a certain artist that I feel I've discovered and would love more people to hear. I absolutely love Django Unchained so I need to go back and check that song out! :grinthumb

Thanks! I think I remember this! You definitely should post a thread! So, I've seen this type of thread plenty of times over my stay here and it never gets old! I'll post a few of my old standbys as I think everyone should hear them!

Something Corporate-Konstantine
(Best love song ever IMO and the melody that represents what love would sound like if it's sound was defined)

Ryan Adams-How Do You Keep Love Alive
(Lyrically the most beautiful love song ever IMO)

Ben Folds-The Luckiest
(One of the best and purest messages of love from an amazing songwriter, I love any songs or movies that actually pay attention to old proven forms of love rather than young passing lustful ones)
